So... it's been a while! I'm still working diligently on Vagrant's Crossing, it's just taking longer than I anticipated to properly outline the story. I hope I'm not biting off more than I can chew.
Anyway, I figured I'd share some random sketches with you. I have more on paper, I'll see if I can get those up as well. Hopefully these will tide you over for another half-year. Enjoy!

Remember the last time when I said I'd be posting more frequently? Yeah, well I guess that was a lie. Took me almost 5 months to get this together.

Instead of promising that I'll double down and make sure to ramp up my publishing schedule, I'm going to do just the opposite. I have chapters 6-12 written already, they just need images drawn. But even still, I'm afraid I might have to go on a bit of a hiatus.
I need to fully flesh out the story's outline. I had a vague one in my head, and a first draft of a complete one written down, but I don't like enough. I'm going to re-examine the character arcs and make changes as I see fit. I hate boring characters, and I fear that's where I may have been headed.
So... yeah. It could be a wicked long time until a new chapter is up. I'd like to make other additions to the site and add more drawn content. Maybe some of that will pop up before Ch. 6 is posted? Who knows.

Yesterday, we experienced a culture shock in the United States. Even 24 hours later, I cannot fathom the events that took place last night. The whole thing seemed like a bad dream, a dream that you eventually had to go to sleep from.
Yet here we are. The sun still rose in the East this morning. As this country churns, I worry about the future. Things are forced into perspective. It's why I pushed to finish this chapter tonight, even though I'm exhausted from work and mentally drained from processing this election. I don't want these recent events to stop my progress. That would truly be admitting defeat.
So, at the risk of sounding like a broken record, I am aiming to produce chapters at a faster clip.
